Materials:
- Ideally, bring couple of spindles, 1 oz or less, or wheel with a variety of small whorl choices, (but don't worry if you only have one choice), 3 bobbins, a kate, 2 - 4 ounces ( total ) of any fine fibers you want to bring.
- Optional: hand cards, flicker and combs.
- Optional: fibers available from instructor: $10 includes a packet of medium to superfine fibers. Just let me know when you register.

Concentrates fiber selection, fiber prep, spindle choice / wheel setup & modifications and spinning technique for getting super-fine and delicate yarns suitable for lace. Participants should be able to spin a basic fine 2-ply yarn about sock weight or finer.
