Come and enjoy a day-long exploration of the fiber arts. Shop the vendors, learn a new skill, bring your knitting, your spinning wheel or your sock machine and enjoy a day of community with your fellow fiber enthusiasts.  This is a BYOC (bring your own chair) event, so please remember to bring portable seating of your choice.





There will be many vendors selling spinning and weaving equipment, spinning fiber in all forms. See the vendor list in the sidebar for details and keep checking back for updates.

Vintage Base Ball Double-Header: 

Lowell BBC vs. Portsmouth Rockinghams

Noon to 3p.m. 
Take family and friends out to the ballgame, nineteenth-century style. The four teams of the Essex Base Ball Association (the Newburyport Clamdiggers, Lowell Base Ball Club, Portsmouth Rockinghams, and the Lynn Live Oaks) play using 1860s rules. At these fun, historically accurate games, players pitch underhand, a ball bounced once and caught is an out, and gloves are not allowed.
